THE ASYMMETRIC POINT

THE ASYMMETRIC POINT

A Story by Laaiqah Amaani Ruzaick
"

A message to every brave heart that was crazy enough to be different

"

A label on your hairstyle, mini-van or social status will not cost you a fortune. A denied acceptance to speak with your role-model will not distort your adequacy to attain your dream. A friend that ceases to admit to your skill does not construe your thing. The identity of who you are to the world is not reflected by pet-talks that judge your reflection. Nor will trying to achieve equality through chaos or truce justify your integrity. My asymmetric point is knowledge that my fantasy & ambition does not calculate on reviews driven about me. This point scores you a long run, way past those that wished you would stay off the pace. A gentleman and a lady is engulfed in their own success with intelligence that the authority of shaping an image of them-selves belongs to them only. Take pride in knowing that you are weird, speculative and absurd to consider your dreams as logic & fashion your process to justify your dreams. Fame and fortune can be lived without but regret that you could not pursue your vision because of what ordinary humans unworthy of dreaming had to say to you. Every human is worth the simple pleasures of dreaming and achieving, no matter where you are from. Draw the asymmetric point and embrace how contrasting you are with others as a substitute to beating yourself over, with why you aren't a boring ordinary.

I can see immediately that you are a deeply philosophical person with an inner strength and awareness that being different is not a bad thing, only so if you let others hold you back from your dreams. An inspirational write on breaking away from the pack, to endure an artists loneliness rather than die in ennui.

How very inspiring indeed. I don't know why, but the vibe I felt when reading this is like talking to my knowledgeable mother, giving me helpful suggestions. It's not really restricted to do's and don'ts, but rather, but suggesting to be more unique than the labels that are tagging people of different individuality of today. Good job, and duly noted advice.
