Maybe

Maybe

A Poem by amallina

If I leave my mind somewhere on an unfamiliar road, my thoughts will seep through the old cracks that portray the canvas of my life story.
But I always end up leaving it on the faded yellow stripes so that you may find me again.
Your existence has been etched into the inclining lines of my palms, and you alone knows the vocabulary of my salt coated being..
