The Princess Who Never Knew

The Princess Who Never Knew

A Story by song writer
"

Another free write I did in my English class. Sorry if I offended anyone in this story I think everyone is beautiful in there own way and that is what this story is trying to portray.

"
She had ink black hair and violet eyes, but she never knew how beautiful she was because she had a curse placed on her. She thought she was an ugly mute girl. Her curse made her have scars all over her body creating delicate crisscross patterns along her arms. Her face had one thick gagged scar along it. She had inky black hair with muddy brown eyes. She didn't have any friends because of her appearance until one day when this new kid sat down by her.
He said, "Hi my name is  Henry."
"Hi my name is Violet," She replied. They started talking about anything and everything. She learned that they were very similar. He loved reading, anime, and having fun. They were also different he was sporty, loved being near people. They became friends because of their simularities and accepted eachothers differences.
Eventually they grew apart. In high school, they did not see eachother  only saying hi when they passed eachother in the hallway and eating lunch together like they always did. they got a lot of stares , you see Henry was handsome. He had honey blond hair and sea green eyes but at lunch he would only sit by Violet and no one understood why. He did this to show them that Violet was like him so she could have more friends but that never happened. Everyone was too scared of her scars to give her a chance. Then when Valentines day came he gave Violet and his girlfriend flowers. Violets flowers were beautiful a mixture of purple roses and calla lilies . His girlfriends flowers were just plain red. Fighting between the couple occurred and he eventually stated that he didn't love his girlfriend anymore. This was when violet knew that he loved her. That night he told he he loved her and they kissed. She turned beautiful by her princes kiss because even though her scars still cover her body she accepted herself for who she was. Her muddy brown eyes turned brighter with happiness eventually becoming violet. Her inky black hair started becoming sleek and soft. She was beautiful and they lived happily ever after.

Its up to the reader to decide on that I wrote this awhile ago and it makes me cringe every time I r.. read more
What a great message! I don't believe this is offensive in any way. It's a relatable thing when one feels like they're not good enough, fast enough, smart enough, strong enough, pretty enough, etc. Everyone has days like that and some spend their whole lives that way. But we all have a choice. We can live with putting ourselves down or we can rise above and embrace ourselves and treat ourselves like the beautiful people we are.

This is a nice love story too, a modern day fairytale of sorts. I really like that Henry gives Violet the prettiest flowers. And in true fairytale fashion, you have a fairytale ending. This is something beautiful and I encourage you to take this free writing and run with it. Develop it. Nurture it. Keep up the great work!
