Because

Because

A Poem by song writer
"

Another rant poem. This one about genders and how we are trying to break through the rules on gender norms.

"
I don't know your name
Because of this I'm afraid
Instantly I see a threat
Someone who could cause pain
Because from a young age I was taught not to talk to strangers
Especially men
Because they weren't taught right from wrong
Or so society tells us
We have to cover up
It gives the wrong impression
Because we are women
Yet we can't even trust a man near us
Because yes some men were taught wrong
Women have to hide their bodies and be fearful
Good men have to put up with our man hating ways
Because we aren't even
We call ourselves feminist
Yet we don't want to be treated as a bro
Because society told us our gender
What we would want
And we had to follow it
That molds not here
Society's laws are falling apart
Because we need to change
The worlds one big mysterious place
Changing every second of every day
And we need to change with it
Or it will just crush us
Because it can
