It came unexpectedly. Overwhelming and quick like a thunderclap. One snap and your mind was made up. The rain started to fall as the tears fell from my eyes when you said goodbye. Lightening struck and you were gone. The terrible storm that took you away. You're gone but this dark cloud still follows me. Reminding me of everything we had - swept away in the storm.
