each drop.

each drop.

A Poem by amanda gott

Heart left scattered on the floor,
like so many times before.
She thought this time she could be stronger,
but she couldn't take the pain any longer.

Inside she was crying for someone to save her soul,
but the pain increased. and it took it's toll.
She told herself it was the only way,
to make all the hurt go away.

She touched the blade and cried,
and died a little more inside.
All she ever wanted was for somebody to care,
but he left her broken - lying there.

The blood came and it poured,
she couln't take it anymore.
She felt the pain decrease,
with each drop that was released.

The hollow feeling stayed the same,
the scar was all that remained.
A memory of what they once had,
a young love that had gone bad.
