Some memories are etched and other fade away,                      We meet, almost 30 years later and bicker about the details                                            Of our first kiss;

And we agree on the general area of the park,

But not on which corner,

We agree upon you asking me, for gum,                                                                          But not about when the kiss happened.      I say night, you say day…

Some memories are etched and other fade away,                       But between the two of us, we remember,                                                                      And it happened.                                                                                                            And we still talk to each other about it, till this day.

Gee
I have friends of 50+ years and we always, without fail, reminisce about past events never agreeing on all of the details but always agreeing they were the best of times.
Loved this
