Isolation is a frame of mind,
One that the creative spark enjoys,
Fester, brew it does all things and more,
Helping to cope within the world around you,
Making you see things differently; or objects that arent there.
Do not fear Isolation it can be the greatest gift for the writer and his/her thoughts.

In a pill box in Viet Nam: suffocating; hot; dark; damp; stinking; painful; sweating; pissing; crapping; fearing; listening; despairing; crying; and dying. But thoughts accompanied me! Isolation? Really? I'm a survivor because my thoughts accompanied me in my solitude.

Sorry, but you asked my thoughts. I don't like to go there but sometimes it helps to revisit Hell. Works wonders for the creativity.

Sometimes less is more and in your poem 7 words say it all. Great stuff.

Not a poem just a thought depicting the irony of the word ! Would love to know what my fellow writers think on the same .
