Lunar Wonderland

Lunar Wonderland

A Poem by Avocations of Amber
"

under the full moon when another world emerges........

"

Tonight beneath the moonlit sky

the fancy fairies flutter by

and tiptoe on wind's gentle wings

while great-horned owls hoot to sing

a melody of natural sound

amidst the frosting on the ground

The vines with tendrils, creep and curl

as the glowing moondust shines like pearl

and the toadstools hide the little elves

who keep the forest by themselves

Like it. Always considered myself a moon child.

Love the alliteration of second line.
I could easily picture this scene. Hear the sounds in my head.
Nice presented, word painted image.

Good work.
