Dimensions of Dying....

Dimensions of Dying....

A Poem by Avocations of Amber

The coldly creeping hand of death

is rapping on the door

the spirits from another plane

unlike they were before

And down the long dark hallway

a stirring sound is heard

the restless breath of living

has uttered its last word

The aching cries of loved ones

do echo through the trees

a symphony of sadness

sending angels to their knees

The hallowed ground is opened

the box is lain within

an empty reservation

free from bondages of sin
