Stolen Sins

Stolen Sins

A Poem by Avocations of Amber

She is befallen, guilt is there

When at her spinning wheel she dared

To play with fire, smote the storm

with invitations so forlorn

Wicked lace and absinthe vial

Abysmal charm so does defile

She could not help but entertain

the centuries of former pain

Violet eyes descend to black

Heaven wouldn't take her back

She is bedazzled; sets her fate

Seeking darkness in her mate

Pale skin calls so fresh and smooth

Milky white,adorned with youth

Feel the warmth as veins do flow

Her biting fangs in moonlight's glow

A scream released into the night

As love illuminates her might

nice job.
alliteration done just nice and not too much (it can get so convoluted in couplets...)
"stolen sins" - good form, and timeless subject.
thanks for sharing

thank you..... whoever you may be :)
I like the purpose of the poem. The good description led the reader to darkness and a dangerous place. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
