Smoldering Disaster

Smoldering Disaster

A Poem by Amely

I meant it when I said...
I'm soft
and short
and sweet
(a natural disaster)

Tonight...
I'm thinking in whispers
and wondering
if your ears burn.

Because...
I'm quietly smoldering
and dizzy
from too much air
(between us)

Speaking of goosebumps... I got them the first time and I get them now. I love the third stanza but,it's the second that has been going through my head when I walk home in the mornings.
