A LOVE TOO FINITE

A LOVE TOO FINITE

A Poem by Shweta Sunil

The moon
Engulfed by the seas;
It flowed with gentle animosity--
Amongst the drifting peace.

Love that once bled through the night,
Had sealed its wounds with shallow words.

The rivers that frisked through avid memories
Had now flown too far.

Our story has ended,my friend
What has begun,
Is Mine and Yours.

I liked the statements in this poem.
"Love that once bled through the night,
Had sealed its wounds with shallow words."
The above words, so good. When we accept shallow words. Just accepting less to be able to move on. Thank you Shweta for sharing the excellent poetry.
