YET ANOTHER DAY

YET ANOTHER DAY

A Poem by Shweta Sunil

as the wind whistled past the twigs,
that lay unfettered on a yellow green carpet,
the ball of fire
sank beneath the cotton draped dust
suspended in the air that followed you home.
with yet another day
sworn at judgement, wed to some unknown,
that walked past you
and told you in some hidden symphony
known to only you and he,
about an unworthy mortal,
he often called--you.

Nice flow of thoughts led to perfect ending. I liked the use of description leading to hopeful end. Some people make us want to live and dance. Thank you Shweta for sharing your amazing poetry.

I love this poem great on it's own but made me feel like it could e part of something ore like a play or story or even a bigger poem. Still beautiful on it's own tho.
