A call

A call

A Poem by amrit

Not any guiding verse , not even a prophecy
More like one on one talk with me
Or may be with god about life in jeopardy
Been with mystics, truth seekers, their philosophy.
Simple fact ,this soul not being me but somebody.
mirror on wall ,taught me to be with world's symphony
Hence , an abandoned coprse lying in disguised tragedy.
Marks on my heart, handful that walked over it
I let them , i never had my emotions on chastity.

Shaping up thoughts, the blank paper
Seems the mess like the stars or a scrabble.
often the guilt tripping seldom the conscious flipping.
A conflict , with a thought of life without whine
But everytime words precedes the interrogation signs.
Then a call to him , looking at the sky
Sometimes looking deep down inside.
Still every time I dip nib in the ink
It feels like the first time .

Wow I really like how this one flows and I could tell it was from deep down inside. This was really cool and the feeling really got me and so did every line- each one so beautiful and the kind of perfect that you just can't describe, you know? This is so inspiring. Great job

A very true feeling captured with craft. It was a pleasant read , Amrit. I like your take on the connection you make of writing and soul and conversations with him ? It is profoundly beautiful and I must mention that I love the choice of words you make..

My pleasure. :)
I must agree with a previous comment, the last two lines are brilliant, the whole work makes me feel right at home, blank paper, guilt trip, conflict and so much more remind me how hard it can be sometimes to find that right moment, that theme or just first line that will launch me into another poem, thank you Amrit
