Flashbacks

Flashbacks
I get flashbacks to the past,
to when I was in seven or eight,
but I still remember as if it was yesterday.
The year where people I saw every weekend disappeared from my sight,
it hurt so much,
my heart was shattered,
the people I knew all my life,
gone.
All the usual noise from the people around me was now a silent environment.
For the first time in my life,
I was felt like I was fighting everything alone.
