Time To Breathe

The depth of the ocean 
In which I am floating
May reach eternal depths
Or it may be shallow
I don't want to know.
..
I just want to exist
In a quiet solitude
Until I am ready
To stand up and face
The realities.
..
I know the depth 
Is shallow
I am not going to drown
But just for a minute
Let me imagine. 

..
That I am not giving up
That I am not drowning
Let me just float
Give my soul solace
And enough time to breathe.
