Wanderlust

Wanderlust

A Poem by Anagha Rakta

It's a weird pleasure -
to wish
to wake up
in a different world everyday;
to walk
on a different road
and to breathe in
a different wind.
It's exciting _
to taste
a bit of myself
in every sip
of a new world;
to meet a different me
in every sunset,
ever seen,
in an unknown sky.
It is not a simple pleasure
of exploring a new city -
it's exploring myself.
And in that,
I find pleasure.

A happy poem :) I liked it!
There's so much out there to discover. Life's too short to see the sadness in anything.
Nice job.

We have so many to discover in our life, that life itself is too short. A happy poem, simple and short but good. Liked it. :)

This is wonderful... I'm 30 amd I still often think about running away forever so this makes perfect sense to me.

A amazing poem. I do understand the need to seek new places. There is pleasure in new places and activities. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

I like this… musing upon change, always finding the new.
