The december

The december

A Poem by ananyeah
"

Here's a very short poem which I wrote, I hope you had a great time lurking through.

"
White flakes, Crystals burn
The December that I had rued, adjourn
Year felt golden bright
A tinch of bitterness in every bite.
all the sins I have committed so far
burrowed by deeply rooted scars
I promised I’d stick around
his brows unapologetically frowned
unamused lips, sore throat
stings of perfectly human I wrote.

"stings of perfectly human I wrote"
is a very interesting line...Unamused lips...
we can tell in poetry, but the deep rooted scars need to be shown...
You show with your imagery and your metaphor that follows through.

I really enjoyed reading your poem and wished it had been just a little bit longer. I felt there was something more that may have been left unsaid. Over all it was a real good piece of poetry. Thank you for sharing your work with us.
