Stopping the flow of fresh formed thoughts
Freezing yourself in numbest limbo
Cramming your mind full of tv candy, visual valium, music that speaks from ages past
Just to avoid your here and now.

And when you remove that plug
Wait for the gush, the incoming tide, the tsunami that knocks you to the sea's floor
Drowning you, choking you with salty waters of consciousness that fill
Your eyes
        Your mouth
                Your mind

You remember that you learned to swim and alive you stay.
