Oral Diarrhea (Part Two)

Oral Diarrhea (Part Two)

A Poem by Andrew N. Farrens
"

The second verse to the first poem I have written this year due to a wicked writer's block but I'm back, jack, at least for now. I love you all....

"
I once had an 8th of the best marijuana I ever smoked
but I couldn't find my damned lighter.
The search was a real nail biter because the only thing I wanted, blood,
was to get higher than I already was.
They ask, why do you hate sobriety and
I answer back that it's due to a lack of love.
Oral Diarrhea is what comes out the television from the talking heads
I wish were dead
but for eating crackers, I certainly
would not kick Erin Burnett out of bed.
Madness consumes this cruel world,
entering the minds of every boy and girl
and if we don't stop, we'll be destroyed
so let's do more than give peace a chance and actually give it a whirl.
They don't want us thinking like that so that's why they give us prescription
drugs to teach us how to act and they can be so fun to mix with crack.
Words are powerful and mine
are designed to make you react,
whether yellow, brown, white, or black.
All life, despite whatever color, is important, as a matter of fact.

You said a lot in the words. You could write five poems at least from your statements.

Above lines were my favorite and true. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry and thoughts.
