Competition

A man's nature, and why at times it's difficult for men to make meaningful friendships.

I don’t mean to have constant complaining or to have contentions.

Just an idea, something I thought I’d mention.

Shall we blame ideology, or biology?

I just don’t care to compete.

Don’t we have something else to say,

Besides our job and pay.

I’m not losing any sleep,

Based upon with whom you’re sleeping.

Feelings don’t start to appear,

Until we’ve had a some beer.

Biology be damned.

Can conversing to connect compete with conversing to compete?
