Octopus

Octopus

A Poem by SirEdwinSantosIII
"

A poem about an octopus.

"
Octopus

They, like us
Like an Octopus,
With eight arms reaching
And eight arms pleading
And eight arms needing
And never receiving
But a piece of anything.

Love your simple symbolism left wide open for each reader to interpret as needed. This could be about greed in love or money, or so much more. Grabby fools grasping & never finding the satisfaction they seek. Amazing how much can be read into this simple little ditty about octopus-ness *smile*

Thank you. I like things to be fairly open.
