from a streetwalk cafe

A Poem by andy groe

take my pardoned empty pocket

dropped upon the ground.

i would like to read your letters

from your fountain found.

will i see you again?

the night will pass until then.

quite moments heard in chatter,

stolen wistful eyes.

these are orders from a distance

given in disguise.

will i see you again?

the night will pass madeleine.

though your ruined crime

is no one's but mine,

i will wish you away.
