it's both funny and strange at the same time

how a person

can make you happy,

can make you simply smile

from the inside out,

even at just the thought of them.

i wonder if that's

the love or the logistics

speaking.

perhaps i'll never quite know

for sure.

and i just didn't recognize it?

i wonder.

i do remember that silly, faithful adage.

sixes and sevens.

it's sometimes difficult to think straight

at times like this.
