I play our memories like movie re-runs in my mind
Watched them so much, I've got your smile memorized
A different kind of blue lighting your eyes

Ever since I seen you I knew right then

And at night I relive them again and regret
That the promises came crashing

Now I don't even know if were going to see each other again one day

But i still know, apart or together, you once were my fate

I closed my eyes today and saw your house on the top of the hill
Saw you lead me up the steps as my heart began to fill
I knew that was it, that day I knew that I will
Someday close my eyes and wish I was there now, with you
