mother earth

mother earth

A Poem by Starrbitt

good-luck new girl
see the world,i'll keep you warm
say's the sun in the morn

baby blue-birds swarm
carry her through twilight skys
and tuck her in good-night

pretty gold-stars stir
out of slumber and smile
down at her through glass eyes

fireflies hum there
lullabys,raindrops whisper
sweet as the fall around

good-luck new-born child
in the arms of mother earth
