Once in a Casket

Once in a Casket

A Poem by Starrbitt

i live in a caskit , my arms chained to my sides
i lay on a pile of bloody roses , no lie
layers of chains , and locks
blanket the outside , along with heavy rocks
my breath is loosing itself
in this stuffy place , i want to be somewhere else
but im afraid to leave
im afraid of those people , growing mean
so i stay here , where i dont know if its day or night
where i wont , ever , hug the light
but wait , what is that noise
it was a creak , it-its a boy
im here to save your sorry butt
he says , lowering his hand , i felt an electricity cut

now , im here , sitting on the floor
of a room with the boy holding open the door
he says "come on my luv. we gotta get you some some sunshine "
i am happy to call my hero , all mine
