She misses her home

This cold weather is really bring me down

She wonders how it came to this
Sitting on her front porch swing
Watching as it get colder
She sits there and shivers more
Wishing that it wasn't so cold

She can remembers a time where it wasn't cold
She misses the sun betting on her face
And the sound of Kids running all over the place
She misses the smell of her papa and daddy cooking
She misses the taste of the tea her grandma made

She misses her home
The place where she fit in
Where she can run with no shoes on and not get sick
She can play in the rain and fell so much better

But for now she sits on a swing
On her porch
Watching the snow
Wishing she was back home
