If I could come back

Just an odd musing...

If there was ever a chance I could come back in time, to this very moment,

I would embrace myself.

I would pull younger me close to my heart and stroke her hair,

And I would kiss her head,

Tell her it’s all going to be okay. It always was okay.

It always will be.

I would tell her that I love her,

Because she is me.

And she always will be.

And I will tell her she is beautiful,

Because she is.

And I would tell her that I get her,

That I understand her to her very depths,

That she doesn’t ever need to worry that she is alone…

Because I’ll always be with her.

That I, at any time in history and in the future will be her

And she will be me.

And we will be just fine.
