Burning Love

Burning Love

A Poem by Angelus

There was at first so much light

A light dazzling so bright

That I could not open my eyes

As I get used to so much grace

I force my eyes and saw your face

There just behind me your body lies

I felt your skin without touching

I smell your essence without breathing

My only will is to be there

Contemplating, feeling, living near

Tears roll in my eyes

Flames light in my heart

The only thought of losing you

Is like tearing me apart

My soul is yours

My mind is yours

As Love heals

As Love heats

No one to be blame

Love is a constant fire

And you are my Flame

Author's Note

Angelus
My concept of love is like a butterfly flying to a sparkling bulb, even though you know you can get hurt if you come too close, the attraction of so much grace is greater than the idea of getting burned...
