A song parody.

I picture me and you, and you and me,

All bundled in a life of ease, and ecstasy,

If only I were someone else, then we could be,

If I were strong and rich, and smart and cute,

And all the ways I wrecked my life, I could undo,

Then that would make you fall for me, as I for you,

I can't get these burning thoughts out of my brain, to have a wife.

I can't give a better description of pain, then of my life,

As I continue here, to watch and wait,

And nervously I wonder if, our common fate,

Depends on if I ask you for, a single date,

Then I'll ignore my doubts, and throw the die,

And finally convince myself, than I can try,

Why is living always appearing so stark, without a wife?

I'm so sick of touching myself in the dark. I have no life.
