The Happiest Author Around

The Happiest Author Around

A Poem by lovelyricalpoetry
"

This poem describes how I feel about my writing. If I can touch just one person with my words, then I am an accomplished writer.

"

There is so much I haven’t seen,
So much I’ve yet to see;
My imagination was once locked,
But I have found the key.

I haven’t climbed the highest peak,
Nor sailed the oceans wide.
But my mind is now an open book,
With a whole wide world inside.

Millions of people share this earth,
But there is only one me.
And I’m determined to make my mark,
For who knows what will be.

Lyrical verse is my passion,
And has been for some time.
I’m not sure how it comes about,
But my poetry always rhymes.

If just one single person,
Enjoys what I write down,
Then I can guarantee I’ll be
The happiest author around.
