The Truth About DepressionA Poem by Anna Clarkthis is all me, no edits.Sometimes pain and sadness Goes deeper than you know You turn around, And suddenly there's a hole. A hole where your trust should be. A hole when you'd learned to believe. You start falling apart Because you have a hole for a heart. Your eyes start to water, your tears start to fall. You suddenly wish you were nothing at all. The night sneaks up on you It makes you feel weak Your chest gets so heavy, You can't even speak. The pain hits you hard And you fall to your knees You feel alone, broken, and scared. I know what it's like To be easily replaced. I know how it feels To be completely erased. Just remember you're worthy That you make someone's day Just remember your beauty When love seems to fade.
