Shameless Sins

Shameless Sins

A Poem by Emmy

Shameful was it, shameful it is,
what we did that night,
what god forbids.

Boys with excuses,
girls with no appetite,
shameful was it, shameful it is.

Find it in their faces
when their mouths gleam white,
what god forbids.

Guilt absolved to ashes
once we recite,
shameful was it, shameful it is.

In the masses and the kids,
no one is free to spite
what god forbids.

The man, he judges
for his own delight.
Shameful was it, shameful it is
that god forbids.
