Sacred Place

Sacred Place

A Poem by Taral
"

I just felt God speaking to me personally and i just thought I should share with everyone else.

"
What is this sacred place they speak of?
My mind is confused its lost, could I ever get to this place
they speak so fondly of?
Little did I know its a matter of time before I tap into it.
Here I am a lost soul waiting for my King to find me.
When I found him, his presence was like a sweet smelling aroma!

I felt Him there around me asking for some intimacy.
I found myself in a place it was just God and I.
A place I could commune with Him.
Here I learnt to let go of all my worries to Him
and I put my trust in Him.
There He was my buckler and my shield.

I found his love that can never be defined.
No word in the dictionary could describe what i was feeling.
What I felt was bigger than me, I couldn't contain it.
His Grace also covered me.
It was abundant going through an overflowing stream.
He was pouring out His blessings like never before.

There He me made know that we could have a relationship.
He had always been yearning for it
But i was always caught up in this world.
His voice had been silenced by all the peers and voices in my head.

So often, God is just waiting in the wings for us, while our eyes are closed, and we are focused on other things. We try to fill the God-sized hole with things, with people we think will improve our image, or with name and fame sometimes. And yet there is God, quietly waiting.

This write has the reverence of a Psalm, and the wisdom of a loving parent. :):) Very well done!
