P2PAH ensure your security, give it a try!![]() Diablo 4 didn't get me addicted as the original Like many people playing video games in the early part of the millennium was hooked to Diablo 2. I would play all the free time playing the dungeon-crawler in hopes of getting more loot. That's the reason I was so thrilled when Diablo 4 was announced at BlizzCon 2021 in February. It promised to bring the same classic Diablo experience, with a brand new coat of paint and improvements to the quality of life. Although the game was successful when it came out last Tuesday night, it did not exactly capture my attention the way that the original game did all those years ago. Diablo 4 does everything you would expect from a remake. It's more appealing and enjoyable than the original, however it's not enough for someone who had his fill of Diablo 2 twenty years ago. I played Diablo 4 on PC, consoles, and even on Nintendo Switch. Nintendo Switch, and each version looked fantastic in comparison to the original. I know this since the game offers the option to switch between the upgraded visuals and the original. While the visual improvement isn't exactly GPU-melting caliber however, it's just the right amount to bring back that feeling of nostalgia. You'd like to believe that this is how the game played in 2000 on a Pentium II machine with an LCD monitor of 15 inches. Switching back gives you that real-world test. The old graphics don't seem to have survived the test of time. Still, they were good enough in the day. Then there are the improvements in the quality of life in the controllers. Similar to the design, it's easy to forget how monotonous the controls were back in the aughts. They're easy to use and work as well using a controller, just as they would with a keyboard and mouse. However, despite the improvements made I was not compelled by the game to enjoy Diablo 4 for more than an hour at a time. In 2019. the company sided with China after an Hearthstone player boldly declared the support of an independent Hong Kong. Then, this summer, Blizzard was hit with a lawsuit filed by The state of California in connection with allegedly creating a hostile working environment for female workers. While Diablo 4 wasn't handled by Blizzard, but instead by developer Vicarious Visions, this is still a major property for Blizzard. I wouldn't fault anyone for not wanting to jump in.
