I love to hear you sleep

Your breathing is so deep

You sound so cute

My phone I can’t put on mute

In your sleep I hear you talk

And sometimes you squawk

You call out for me in your dreams

My face really beams

When I hear you say “Mummy I love you”

Do you know what I do?

I say “I love you too baby boy”

This fills me with joy

Then after I put my phone down

My beaming smile turns into a frown

Goodnight Sweetheart

I hate us being apart

One hundred miles is so far away

One day I will be able to stay

But until then Skype will be okay

One day it will be different I pray

Goodnight my baby boy
