Flutterbies

Flutterbies

A Poem by Courtney Rose

the spiders find their way through my veins

exciting every sense with their intricate webs trailing behind

they might be more like wingèd things if they fluttered

but they prick and tingle with an attack on the mind

i'm falling, falling

an addiction so pure

they're crawling, crawling

no chance for a cure

a smile graces my lips, so natural, my blood chills

the wicked winds of love making pulses race

this fate of flutter-bys isn't the worst

if your glittering heart is the fate I face

About
I'm not quite sure what to write here... (says the writer) I never really "plan" poems...I just sit down and let pen meet paper. I tend to lean towards darker topics, but I'm not troubled or depres.. more..
