Lifetime Fool

Lifetime Fool

A Poem by Mbali
"

every now and then

"
I sit and watch you lie again
with tender voice inside you
I tell myself its okay
Its not for long you'll catch him
He is lying with his teeth full
I sit here wish i could untie my tongue
Just say a word that will free me
And say all i need to say
The smile so fake i notice
sweet words but hard to come out
you love another i can note that
Still i thought there is us
A fool again now and then
Blinded with love that always ends
How could you not notice
I remain a fool for the lifetime
kissed and hugged with a man
whose thoughts and love
is for another woman
