Your country has been in our news very much recently following the interview with a British journalist of a gang rapist and murderer who as much as said that 'everyone is doing it (rape and gang rape) in India. This really made me worry for India. Any thoughts pickachu?

Indeed, this is a major concern for India. What I understand from the documentary is that the problem is more with the mindset of the people than any libidinous desires. Value system should be consolidated at the first place, which shall prevent any such incidents.

I wholeheartedly agree - it's not just an Indian problem but a world problem - India just happens to be under the spotlight at the moment given the high-profile cases that have attracted the worlds media. I hope I didnt give the impression that I was tarring your whole nation with the same brush my friend - there are just as many deviants per capita in every country Im sure. The idea that women are somehow inferior to men is abhorrent and needs to be tackled beginning in the home - perhaps the custom (we are led to believe occurs) of giving sweets when boys are born and not giving them when girls are born could be a starting point.

Anyway ANTO, I perfectly understood your point the first time.
Government has passed a restraint order on the documentary citing reasons of giving undue publicity to the accused and his views. On the contrary, I feel that it has brought out the worst in public, and government's reasoning is proven wrong by the fact that the culprit's opinions are too repugnant to buy into and has instead generated awareness about the dark side of India
