The love that lasts.

To a frighteningly various degrees we all are concerned about the same thing that is love.

The displacement of our souls,
From one home to another,
Makes us wonder what is real,
And will we ever be anything other than a bystander.

I made new friends,
I made new enemies,
But I wonder how long will any of it last,
Will we be able to overcome our disparities?

When I move to my next destination,
Who will stay and fight,
Will be with me standing and falling together,
Will become my smite.

The ending is near,
As a new beginning starts to take over,
The future is covered in mist,
As I remain here to hover.

But I cannot give up,
Even if the love I find is temporary,
Because I'm but just a human,
And everyone needs their sanctuary.
