The Buried Truth

The Buried Truth

A Poem by Anusha Pokharel

She tries to walk with her head straight

She tries to be confident and brave

But one lie that you people make

Makes her head bow down in shame

She tries to tell people that it's wrong

but no one is there to listen what's going on

So, she does not raise her voice at all

than the people thinks that she is in fault

She wants to know why is she the one

who is forever always looked down on

So she start's to believe on those lies

And she kills the one she was in by

But no one heard her inside story

And no one was there to feel sorry

Because the lies became stronger

than the truth that was deeply buried
