You Are The One

 When I met you for the first time, I felt,

Myself awestruck by your beauty and my insides melt.

I wanted to talk to you; I wanted to tell you,

That there were not many who impressed me at first sight, but you were one of the few,

Whose smile told me,

That you were exactly what u wanted to be!

But I have left all that way back now,

I couldn’t realize when my life changed and how!

I wish I had met you earlier, I only wish,

I could use my lips to get rid of all your sorrows with a kiss.

I wish I could set you free,

From all your grief, from all your misery!

I have seen you smile; I have seen you cry,

And you would definitely be the last person I would defy.

But now I can happily say that till my life’s end,

You are and you will always remain my best friend!
