her paper world

her paper world

A Poem by Anxelin

unfolding her hands
she stretches a paper trail
hanging the stars in their place
she folds and bends
creating skies of paper mache
she tears them away
all her beautiful origami
ripping and throwing them astray
falling to raging fires
they burn and they burn
turning to ashes, into piles of sand
her deep breathes softly turning
blowing them far off
they begin making a surface
for our feet to bewalk
dissolving in embers
they churn in the flames
churning and churning
they melt in the rain
falling drops of acid
streaming from her face
eyes facing her world dying
they wash us away

Great piece of work you have right here. Secondly using origami as a metaphor for life is fantastic.
