December

December

A Poem by apageofmany

The month of December Santa’s on his way logging all his bags for those who deserve his presents,

As the children count down the days 1by1 eating chocolate from their calendars,

Writing their little notes what they want from Santa folding their notes sent in the post,

Some may want ponies Some may want toys all want something special which Christmas brings,

Parents start to panic most shop at the last min but they can always fall back on online shopping,

It's one of the most spent months family’s under pressure to get their kids the best goods,

From designer clothes and footwear to the best gadgets as this is what's being pushed on us,

I can understand you only want to give them the best but how much is too much,

What makes a better Christmas is when you wake up and you see the snow on the ground,

The whole community comes together to build a snowman wait that's only in movies,

Your mother or Father are cooking the meat that smell tickles your nostrils,

The children are playing on their new toys while the adults are playing the same old Sherrard's,

Well it is Christmas after all so have a drink on me and have a Brilliant Christmas,
