Cold As My Heart

Cold As My Heart

A Poem by arash.suicide

the cold season is leaving

and everyone is welcoming

the warmth

spreading it's wings over the lands

getting birds to sing again somehow

and letting the mother earth

finish the grief of the naked trees

and come to life again...

it's never had a start

and it'll never end

but still

after all these years

I can't feel it...

the wheels of life

has always been turning without me...

I sit by the ocean

and I can't feel the ocean spirit

when I hear the sound of waves

the only thing I can hear is

you weeping

so so far away

I feel the water dipping my feet

and the only thing I can feel is

you're tears dipping you're face down on and on

I watch lovers on the shore

and the only thing I can see is

us on a mountain road

old giant trees all around us

in a cold rainy day

looking deep in each others eyes forever

but I can't feel the spring spirit

years come and go

five mounts of cold

seven mounts of warmth

yet my coldness is infinite

birds sing and flowers kiss

and the only thing I can see is

coldness

cold is to come

cold is to be

years come and go yet

cold is infinite....

"birds sing and flowers kiss"....what an image......what a great line
and what a great poem this is....I absolutely loved it
but most importantly, I felt it.
and I couldn't agree more...."cold is infinite..."
Beautiful write...
