FRAGRANCE OF SPRING

FRAGRANCE OF SPRING

A Poem by Dr Arathy.K.Nair
"

Spring!..The most alluring seasons of all,the donor of intense pleasure and charm, on its arrival. The poem is a bid towards spring,to grant its zeal and grace to the man-kind

"

As the icy shades of winter bids farewell,
Inviting the bright rays of heavenly florets
Hearts desire to feel the most,
The fragrance , you spread, Dear Spring!

The mesmerizing spirit you embrace,
Chanting the hymns of a new beginning,
The greens woke up from hibernation,
Here's the simple ferns began their songs afresh!

Underneath the shrunken aisle ,
The jittery sands have written the stories of pain,
And then you arrived ,with a miraculous bloom,
Smoothly spawning a castle of smiles!

With ever shining glaze and never ending fervor,
Oh Spring! You changed the barren to a blissful terrain,
Though your rhythm recedes behind the time,
Relenting to the nature's behest,

Could you bestow this gleam to the mankind?
Blowing your fragrance in our riveted minds,
Bloom in our soul, wiping off the melancholy.

Reside in us , cover our hearts &

Hiss us with the fragrance of eternal ecstasy....

Beautifully depicted. Unique wordplay made for a good read, it was enjoyable. I love spring, maybe not as much as autumn, but there is such an amazing energy in spring. Thanks for sharing, was good.
