He

He

A Poem by Greg the Bard

He

He’s only one

I can’t imagine being without him

His smile lights up my days

And even nights are fun

He started toddling at ten months

At ten months and a day

I lost my favorite pen

Word processing is now my end

He knows how to communicate

Still he doesn’t talk

Carrying three balls when two is too many

Falling plot on a squishy diaper

Eating cut Green Beans whole

Looking for cooked carrots bold

He stuffs his little mouth so full

Little cheeps pop out like Chipmunks do

His hair is golden sunlight weave

Blue eyes that melt the coldest heart

He is my grandson can you see

God has made my life come true

how precious the little guy sounds...how fortunate for you to have this experience; how fortunate for him to know your love
