It’s me

They don’t believe

The lie was true

It stuck like glue

 

I gave it away

I’m to blame in away

I kept it to myself

Locked upon a shelf

 

It was piece of me

Why can’t they believe

When I let it go

I took the blow

I should not of told

I was to bold

 

They don’t believe

Maybe it was just me

Why can’t they just let it be

I did not lie
